Halloween HeartBreak YOUNG ROMANCE "Bonnie Taylor: Airline Stewardess in One Kiss Forever!" Part 1

Ever hear of Brigadoon?
It was a long-running Broadway musical, adapted into a major motion picture, about a mysterious Scottish village that appears in our dimension for a couple of days once a century, then disappears again, taking anybody within it's boundaries with it!
There was a recent AppleTV mini-series musical parodying it...Schmigadoon...
...which was equally-good, if not better (but somewhat snarky)!
Anyway, that concept is the basis for this haunted tale about the eternally-searching for love Bonnie Taylor: Airline Stewardess...

Just thought we'd mention it, for historical context...

They just don't write (or draw) 'em like that anymore!
You just know this moment of passionate pleasure is going to be followed by tragedy...as you'll see...
(You didn't think we'd make you wait a week...did you!)
You'd Cry Your Eyes Out if We Did That!

Amorous Education CAMPUS ROMANCES "One Way Romance"

If you thought last week's story about a girl falling for a guy who looked like a younger version of her father was weird...

...wait until you see this little tale!

Yeah, waiting until she graduates to marry won't get any tongues wagging!
I can see the first faculty get-together after the wedding...
"Hi, Professor Banner!
Congratulations on your nuptials!
Odd, your lovely bride looks so...familiar?"
"Oh, she was in your European Classical Literature class last semester, Professor Warren!"
Illustrated by Jerry Grandenetti, and scripted by an unknown author, this never-reprinted story from Avon's Campus Romances #2 (1950) is an interesting insight as to what was "polticially-correct" back then!

Amorous Education LOVE ROMANCES "No Dates for the Dance!" / MARVEL ROMANCE REDUX "Callie Crandall: Co-Ed Campus Undercover Cuite"

College is stressful enough without this...
...which is enough to reduce even the smartest of students to a despairing sad sack!
You would think this tale about a girl falling for a guy who looks exactly like the younger version of her daddy by penciler Dick Giordano & inker Vince Colletta (along with an unknown writer)  from Atlas' Love Romances #89 (1960) was kinky enough, right?
But Marvel decided it needed the raunchiness kicked up to 11!
So writer Michael Lieb kept the art, but re-wrote the story for Marvel Romance Redux: Restraining Orders are for Other Girls (2006)...
Just when you thought romance comics couldn't get any weirder...

Next Week...
Another Tale of Amorous Education!
And, we can guarantee that...

You'll Cry Your Eyes Out if You Miss It!
