LOVE STORIES "I Loved a Drop-Out"

It's almost the end of the school year...
...so we wanted to get this tale on the board before summer vacation!
So, the kid quits school, then blackmails his doctor father to bankroll his eduction (which Dad was going to do all along) as well as take on free patients despite Dad already having a crushing workload?
And note the kid doesn't even offer to help out in Dad's office?
This never-reprinted tale penciled by Ric Estrada and inked by Tony DeZuniga from DC's Love Stories #147 (1972) has some weird priorities!
I'd criticize the writer...but we have no idea who it is!
 Next Week:
We don't know what we'll publish...yet!
But, You'll Cry Your Eyes Out If You Miss It!
And now a word from our sponsor...

YOUNG LOVE "One Boy After Another"

Even though New Year's is behind us, some girls just can't stop partying...
as shown in this 60s-70s story from Girls' Romances #144 (1969) and reprinted in Young Love #112 (1974), originally titled "I Couldn't Be Faithful!"
Illustrated by Ric Estrada and Vince Colletta.
This reprint follows the format we mentioned HERE about taking old stories, updating the art to show contemporary fashions and hairstyles, though in this case, the 1974 reprint has very few art changes (mostly the guys' hairstyles) from the 1969 original, which was the cover story...
But, changing the title wasn't done very often.

Next week:
We haven't decided yet what it'll be, but we can guarantee that...
You'll Cry Your Eyes Out if You Miss It!
(Oh, you've heard that, eh?)

And now a word from out sponsor...
