Though he looked like a jovial stage magician in a mask, his stories easily matched those of the Crypt Keeper and other ghoulish comics hosts..as you shall see!

I like how this followed the pattern of the woman who'll do anything for a man, even though this woman is CHIEF OF SURGERY.
ReplyDeleteTom Feelings, eh? With its mishmash of EC artists' stylings, it actual looks a lot like an underground comic from someone like Roger Brand... which is all to the good.

DeleteHe did a couple of romance comic stories and this one combining horror and romance before moving to magazine/book illustration.
He returned to comics in the 1970s to illustrate some of the Golden Legacy series!
